Charlestown East Preschool is a lunchbox Centre. To prepare children for school, we encourage parents to pack a healthy morning tea and lunch. We provide afternoon tea for all children who are here past 4pm.
While we run a dedicated Preschool, we understand how busy life can get for parents. As such, we open from 8am to 5:30pm – with our Preschool program running from 8am – 4pm.
Our Centre operates 52 weeks a year and closes only on public holidays.

Our twins (son and daughter) went to this preschool for a year. They both came out to be all ready for big school next year and emotionally and socially stronger . This preschool has a program where they let kids learn and explore having fun in a very streamlined way. We wish good luck to all the people involved with the preschool.
My daughter has been here 8 months now and will be finishing up in another 6 months as she will head off to kindergarten. The new ownership, management and staff are simply incredible. This is by far the best place for your preschool aged child to be to prepare them for school. I have seen the biggest shift in character and growth with my daughter since her change to the school, so much so the moment my other daughter turns 3 I will be enrolling her. I love that it's an old school style preschool with a little less flashy tech and alot more of a humble, imaginative and resourceful environment for my child to play, learn and grow. From my first walk through to my daily pick ups I feel very grateful I found this little treasure.
This preschool was such a beautiful environment for our son to grow and thrive in. After nearly 3 years there he has changed and grown so much and was really sad to leave. He loved going every day and was always happy and positive about preschool and his teachers, I think that in itself speaks volumes of the type of environment they provide there. We are so grateful to the teachers for their support and nurture of our son and setting him up ready for kindergarten. We hope to return to the preschool with our daughter when she is old enough to attend.
I couldnt ask for a better team of people to look after my son. He is learning so much from being at school in such a short period of time from starting. The teachers are absolutely amazing and the owner and Director go above and beyond to help us settle in. I cant speak highly enough of charlestown east pre school and highly recommend.
